Robbie joins the Vaders as one of the most prolific strikers in the Maesteg area, and there’ll not be many defenders and goalkeepers in the league that have not been terrorised by him over the last decade.

Robbie is the ultimate poacher, being in and around the 6 yard box at any given opportunity and his movement and pace give him the edge needed to slip in front of defenders and place the ball in the net, although he also proved on his Vaders debut that there’s a lot more to his finishing than close range efforts, as he scored a 25 yard screamer into the top of the net (he got brought back down to earth later on though, missing a 5 yard open goal, ouch!).

Fast, good on the ball and with a deadly finish, Robbie could add priceless goals to the Vaders and help push us further up the table. He’ll have to stay on top of his game though, and not expect to walk into the team, to keep Ieuan and Titch’s partnership apart. Who knows we may well see all 3 spearheading the Vaders attack soon. Look out defenders.
