Benjamin Poole

Pooley started off with the intention of playing up front but soon found himself making appearances at left midfield, which has been a trouble position for the Vaders. After a handful of games there from the start and from the bench (with some goals too, including one screamer against Tyco), Pooley was asked to help out at left back.

After a few good performances, Pooley cemented his place at left back for a good run of games during season 2 and his aggression and tackling helped out. A couple of missed games towards the end of the season meant Pooley unfortunately missed out on a starting berth in the cup final, which was very unlucky.

Fast, determined and aggressive (small man syndrome), he likes a good argument with just about anyone on the pitch and very rarely goes a game without some kind of confrontation. Pooley likes to use his speed and his hit the ball forward and sprint tactic worked down the wing from time to time, but he’s had to curb it in defence. Yet to appear in season 3, but will return soon no doubt.
