The Vader’s picked themselves up after last weeks crushing defeat and swept Litchard aside with a 4-1 win.

The game started with a fast pace and with the Vader’s not settling Litchard went one up within the first 5 minutes. The Vader’s didn’t panic though and started again looking for the equalizer.

It was unusual to see the Vader’s playing the long ball game but once they started to play along the floor Jammy, Titch and Lee Isaac were running the right hand side of the field and Litchard could do nothing to stop Lee Isaac slotting the equalizer.

Ten minutes on everything was now going the right way for the Vader’s and Ieuan Morris hit a smart half volley to hit the top corner leaving the “Ian Wickwar” look-alike in the Litchard goal sprawled on his guts.

Going into the second half the Vader’s played more sweeping moves down the flanks and Lee Isaac hit his second from a wonderful through ball by Titch who surprised himself by passing the ball.

Some changes were made, with Rob Boydell (Touch Like a Rhino apparently), Blackie and Powys coming on to replace Tom Evans, Hambone and Jammy.

Minutes later Ben Poole came on for Ieuan and immediately hit a Rooney-esk shot and was parried by the keeper only for a free kick to be given against him for kicking a defender in the Swede.

Just before the death a free kick was given for Blackie’s dive just outside the box and Lee Isaac struck a fantastic shot into the top left hand corner leaving the keeper no chance.

Onward and upward for the next few games and hopefully finish off the season with wins against rivals Ynysmaerdy and Tonyrefail B
